About Chef George:
George Mancy began his cooking career at the age of sixteen at Mancy's Steakhouse. While attending Ohio State University, his passion for cooking motivated him to work at many of Columbus' finer eateries as he managed his workload at school.
Upon graduation, George spent the next three years employed at a family-owned Italian restaurant in Columbus, working his way from a pizza cook to a sous chef. In the spring of 1997, George opened Mancy's Italian Grill. George's opinion of his accomplishments can be summed up with his statement, "Opening a restaurant, especially one with your name on it, is very exciting and challenging! Through reading, experimenting, and guest feedback, our menu continues to evolve." He continually improves the Mancy's Italian Grill's menu by trying new menu items and specials based on the seasonal availability of produce, meats, and seafood.
At
least once a year,
George travels to cooking
classes provided by
the Culinary
Institute of America for a one
week course. These
classes help George
bring back to Toledo
new menu items that
are the in keeping
with the latest trends
around the country.

is printed weekly, how
it has helped keep all
of the values and quality
of George's dream alive
as he sets a new standard
for the restaurant everyday.

Friday: Lunch: 11-4,
Dinner: 4-11
Saturday: 4-11

Reservations:
Monday - Sunday: Gladly accepted for dinner.
Monday - Friday: For Lunch
Private Dining: For special events and business gatherings from 20 to 100 people
